In most states, your relationship especially if it turns sexual is considered statuatory rape. You're legally an adult and she's a child. Even a non-sexual relationship may have legal consequences if the mother wanted to pursue it.
Real love is not selfish... respect her mother's wishes and move on. If your love is real it will still be there in 2 years (or better yet in 4yrs)... real love protects, nourishes and is unselfish.
Definitely do not follow the suggestions of the previous post... they might land you in jail.

reader, anonymous, writes (16 August 2009): No definitaly not by then one of you will find someone else....... but you could just sneak around wit out her mom knowin thats wat i do. she could say shes guna spend the nite at a friends house to her mom n then just go to yours or she could sneak out at nite when her mom is sleepin there are alot of posibilitys n there really easy. hope it works out good luck
