Can precum on fingers cause pregnancy through clothing?

Question - (24 February 2010) 6 Answers - (Newest, 25 February 2010)
A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

If precum (I think it was, it could have been rainwater) soaked very little through my pants and got on my fingers from readjusting myself, and I subsequently went on to rub my girlfriend from outside her panties and pants, is there a possibility for pregnancy? Bear in mind that this was in the cold rain, also, so that may have affected the survival of any sperm. Also, I haven't ejaculated in several days, and I didn't ejaculate during the whole endeavour, and I have obviously urinated many times since then. Is there still a chance?

Please help me. I am extremely scared.

Faraday agony auntThere is not a snowball's chance in hell of your girlfriend's being pregnant!

Sperm cannot penetrate fabric, and if I read you correctly there were several barriers against which the most enterprising sperm would be defeated.

Ignore "male anonymous", he is just taking the piss!

A male reader, spinnaker United States +, writes (24 February 2010):

spinnaker agony auntThe odds of pregnancy in any condition are pretty staggering. Even if you ejaculate inside of a woman, half of sperm cells die in the acidic vaginal environment. The rest have to make it all the way to the fallopian tubes when only 1 actually fertilizes an egg.

All precum is is ejaculate from the bulboeurithral gland which essentially cleans and lubricates the head of the penis. It does not contain any sperm cells.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2010):

It depends upon the fabric. If you were wearing silk knickers then yes, she is pregnant. If you were wearing blue denim then no, she is not pregnant. However, not all denim is alike and if you were wearing say, black denim, then not only is she pregnant, but the baby will no doubt look like Tiger Woods.

A reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2010):

cum dies extremely quickly once it has been on a surface especially in cold conditions. and there is no way it could have found a way up her vagina.

unless you fingered her. sorry if that sounds too direct but at least thats clear

hope that helped.

Not at all.

And most likely it was rainwater- no one makes enough pre-cum to soak through pants and trousers.

I don't think there's a chance at all.
