Size, growth and virginity?

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *oncernedDavid writes:

Hi, I'm 16 and have a 7.5 inch penis with a 5.5 inch girth/circumference. I know there has been a ton of questions like this asked across the web and I know a lot of them are just people trying to get self gratification, but I feel I must ask my own, genuine question.

Firstly, I am curious about growth. I realise puberty varies enormously and I may have finished growing, but I feel as though I haven't. Partly because I have only very fine facial hair on my upper lip. So, do you think my penis/body will continue to grow until I am 18+? Could anyone predict my future penis size?

Secondly, I would be interested to know whether or not my penis could satisfy my partner. Is it big enough or too big? I know that penis size is a secondary thing for most women and that technique matters more but as a virgin, I would appreciate some warning before I take the plunge.

Also, I am keen to know when others lost their virginity. Personally, I don't feel ready yet, so I think I will wait until I'm around 18.

Thanks and all answers are greatly appreciated.

I'm 16 and have been sexually active since I was almost 15. I dated this one guy who was about 10 inches, so a 7.5 is definitely good and is much more pleasurable than 10 inches. The bigger the better isn't always the best. and don't think because that guy was 10 doesn't mean that you're not average!! I believe that where you're from and heritage has to do with it to, black, asian, white, and african...

Well i lost mine a few years back and he had an average penis so dont worry bout that as much as when your ready and technique does matter to some girls so just have sex when your ready and ignore anyone that says different its your body and when your body is ready then go have some fun lol and be safe and your body should stop growing when you are 18 so your penis could prob be around 8 inches when you stop growing

Ouch, sounds painful. Keep that thing away from me! I'm sure there are girls who could handle it though. Good luck!

You are already big 'down there' for a fully grown man, so I think you are very large and will probably continue to grow in length and girth. You should have no problem satisfying the ladies (just go easy!)

Males tend to stop growing at around 20, so you could indeed become taller and larger in the penis department...then again, you might not, I guess you'll just have to see. In any case, the average erect penis is 6 inches so I don't think you have anything to worry about at all.A lot of us girls get more from girth than length to be honest and cliche as it is, I agree with the "it's what you do with it" sentence.

Although the vagina stretches when aroused, if a woman is not relaxed enough, she will be quite tight. This can make sex uncomfortable and sometimes painful, regardless of penis size. Some people say a bigger size can hurt more but I think a lot lies in the woman not being lubricated or relaxed enough, as I have hurt with both a 9inch and a 5inch for this very reason.I would suggest to just take things slowly, lots of foreplay...kissing different parts of her body, teasing her etc so that she is aroused enough for you and things will be fine :)

Also, I respect you for waiting until you feel ready.I lost my virginity at 17 and had waited til it felt right and felt like I was doing it with the right person (my then boyfriend). Hope I have helped you somehow.

Actually... you go through TWO growth spurts... one generally between 12 - 18 years old (it varies for each person) and another a few years later. I was a late bloomer (sounds like you are too)... and was very SHORT until I was a Junior in High School... when I shot from 5'6 to 6'1. It happened so quickly (over one summer)... that I got stretch marks (like those that women get when pregnant)... on my thighs. Kinda freaked me out and asked the doctor about them. I didn't develop real prominent facial hair until I was about 19/20.

The only way to predict final penis size... is to essentially get a look at your father, or perhaps an older brother (if you have one). They are generally very good indicators of what you'll be left with when it's all said and done.

If you already have a 7.5" cock... you're doing pretty well... and I, myself, wouldn't want anything too much bigger than that. Excessive Size CAN scare a woman off.

Losing your virginity... that varies. I've heard of guys doing it as early as like 13... and as late as their late twenties. Don't have sex until you're ready for it... and for goodness sake... USE CONDOMS. You don't want to get her pregnant... and/or pick up anything from her (not saying all women are sluts or anything)... but you never know for sure who she's been with... and who all the people that she was with have been with - if you get my drift.

you are one of the lucky one's. Be happy.

No one can predict how much more you will grow. Men tend to continue to develop until they are 25.

My breasts stopped developing at 16 but I still grew many more inches in height, until I was 21.

SO, probably you will gain more in height. As for penis size, probably not but who knows.

In any event, be smart about who you have sex with. Make sure not to get any STD's. YOur penis is quite large, but most women are equipped to handle it. And most of them will love it.

A female reader, BettyBoup United Kingdom +, writes (24 February 2010):

BettyBoup agony auntHi there.

First of all, the average size of a flacid penis is between 3 and 4 inches with the average erect penis being between 6 and 7 inches. So already your penis is 'above average'. So you really don't need to worry in that department.

It is entirely possible that it will grow further as you continue to grow and develop. You are just 16 and males mature later than females. I don't think it is possible to give and actual prediction for this as everyone is different. Some people grow in some areas before other areas. There's no way of telling.

Personally I'd say don't worry about size, you're clearly above average and not on the extremely large size so you should have no problems satisfying a women with your penis size.

About vriginity. I myself was 18. It varies from person to person. I'd say wait untill you meet someone you are really attracted to and you really care about. That way it will be a good experience and a happy memory for you.

Good luck :)
