I am with a man I love dearly, but he is not one for showing his emotions. When I questioned him about it he replied that the kissing and cuddling isn't really for him but he shows his affections when in the bedroom!! - Is he for real - can men be like that?

Thanks - maybe it's just a quirky habit he got into. - I trust he was like it with his exes too - but I shall never know - seeing I don't know his ex's!

Boys tend to be brought up to consider kissing and cuddling a sissy girly sort of activity and not something REAL men do, and certainly not something he would admit to his mates if he's that way inclined.

If he still shows some affection after as well as before you've had sex then he's a good 'un. If he only shows affection whilst begging for it then he's not so good!

He can be trained, but you'll find it an uphill struggle. As difficult as getting him to lift the toilet seat and lower it once he's finished, or to refrain from farting in your presence.

Yes, it's true. Not all men can show their emotions outside the bedroom. but as Eyeswideopen says, if you're gently, and just slowly huge him more and such, he will feel safer and be able to respond.

eyeswideopen agony auntYou can bet the farm on that one baby-cakes. It takes a lot of training and perseverance to get a non-cuddler to just enjoy snuggling, but it can be done.
