It is impossible to 'kick start' puberty. Every person has their own body clock, and their is nothing we can do to change that. Learn to love yourself, with or without pubes.

No worries, hon! We all have our "clocks," some of us go along more quickly and others, slower. Puberty is tricky, you may have started already! It starts with hormones first and then, they manipulate physical changes little by little. For example, if you start smelling stronger, notice a little hair in different places, and/or find that your constantly hungry...it has probably arrived :) My best friend didn't "bloom" until he was 18 or so, he still had a baby face etc. Now, he's a very broad-shouldered man with a deep voice and hairy legs lol. Don't worry! Your time will come. You'll get to cut yourself shaving and all of that :) As for girls, think of the Jonas Brothers and Zac Efron...they were adored by girls before showing any signs of being in puberty :)

I was very concerned about this at your age, and throughout high school. I remember checking my armpits for hair during my first two years of high school. It was not until 16 that it finally appeared. I grew steadily throughout high school. And I did not start shaving until 19!
I considered hormone therapy but, wisely, my parents and doctor advised against it.
I am now in my late 30s, and am 6 feet tall, have to shave every day (and hate it!), and have too MUCH hair on my chest.
Looking back, I can only say this: it will happen, and I wish I did NOT spend so much time worrying about it, and instead thought about more important things.
Your friends will still like you, and girls will still find you cute. (Justin Bieber didn't shave when he became a sex symbol for teen girls!) So there really is no need to worry. Learn about the world, find your place in it, and concentrate on your growth as a person, rather than just your body.

Eat properly, balanced food, and get enough nutrients. If you aren't eating enough it will slow you down. Growing takes a lot of energy from your body, most teenagers get a big appetite because of growing.
If you work out, or just stay active, you might also get bigger, as muscles will grow faster once you hit puberty.
You're probably in puberty already, but at the very beginning phases.

No, you can not force your body to go into puberty.
You are still young. Chances are if you parents were "late bloomers" you will be too.
Signs of male puberty are : Deeping of voice, more pronounced "Adams Apple/Voice Box" (that bump on your throat), thicker/coarser/darker body hair over all the body, but more pronounced on the face, armpits, chest and groin. Sudden growth spurts in height, weight can be signs, but hair is usually the first "announcment" puberty is on its way.
Most Doctors say if these signs have not shown by the age of 15, then further testing may be needed to see what your hormone levels are.
Everyone hits puberty at different rates, so do not worry, you will eventually catch up with others:)
