A female reader, anonymous, writes (8 October 2009):

Deciding to give your child away to strangers must have been an agonising decision to make, and i hope the child does grow up in a happy home, however you will never know for sure will you? and i am almost sure that further down the line you will come to realise that you have made the most biggest irreversible mistake of your life. please think again.

Jayney Y agony auntWhy would you want to do that? If you don't want your own baby anywhere near you there's something terribly wrong. You should be very careful posting stuff like this on the internet as it could be construed as you trying to gain financial advantage from giving up your child, and human trafficking is a very serious offence in most countries.

A male reader, Confuzzled012 United States +, writes (7 October 2009):

Confuzzled012 agony auntThis is not the place to ask. This is heartbreaking.. You need to research this or call a professional who would have this information. Like DFAX.. But we are not the right people to advice you on how to get rid of her...

And whatever you do, be gentle. She is a child. Just a child. All she can do is cry when she's uncomfortable because she can't even communicate. Please.. if you can't handle it right now.. take her a neighbor, parent, friend, hospital... ANYTHING but take it out on her. SHut the door, lay down in another room, go outside, make a phone call.. take a breather. Untill you can find someone else to take her in, treat her well. She can't help herself, she needs you, or someone. So just.. be gentle.. please..
