I received the mobile and didnt like it so I called them to advise I wanted to return it. They said I would have to pay about £8 to have the phone returned to them. This was never told to me when upgrading and if I had known this I would have just gotton it from Carphone Warehouse where there are no fees. I am so mad right now because I am having to pay for something I do not want which was never advised to me.One of my friends said they saw a documentary on TV saying how companies cant do that - ie charge you for the cost of returning things. Can anyone help me and advise what my rights are and if I do have rights to not be charged, how do I go about it with T Mobile. Please note I am in the UK so only UK based advice appreciated. Thanks Reply to this Question Share |

I've listed three sites in order of which you should visit. The top one has a page dedicated to mobile phones, and will help. Trading Standards is probably your next best bet to make an official complaint. Citizen's Advice is last resort for one to one help.

If you ordered it with a credit card you could try to have the credit card dispute the charge.
Apparently, there's a service that you can use (free) to help you resolve your complaint with T Mobile.

I got this by googling. Maybe you can try doing that as well.
Good luck.

Check the terms and conditions just to see if you have to pay a fee for the phone to be returned.
