I'm 35, my partner is 22, we've been together nearly a year and are madly in love, currently we have spent last few months in different countries cos of her work but I am moving over abroad to set up home with her. I've never loved anyone like I do her and I've had a ten year relationship before yet I get on and have more in common with my current partner than anyone I've ever been with before, she has asked me to marry her and I would love to but I do worry that in 5 years I'll be 40 and she will be 27, she says she couldn't be happier than with me and that I'm more mad and crazy than her friends her own age, I just worry am I too old for her, but we are so happy and our friends say we look so good and that we could be with someone our own age and not be compatible so should I stop worrying, it doesnt bother he just at 22 seems young. Hey,
If you ask me, age doesn't matter. As long as you're in love and are happy with each other, what's wrong with that?
Stop worrying about the age gap, it seems that your partner is happy about being with you and wants to have a future with you.
Just enjoy the time you spend with each other, don't worry about what the future holds, just worry about the present.
Like I said before, age doesn't and shouldn't matter in a relationship, if you love each other and want to be with each other then that's that.
Hope this helps.
Hope everything works out OK :)
