When you're an adult, it's just a number. If you love somebody, age difference shouldn't be an issue.

Age is just a number. Does he seem less mature than you in any way? Does it matter? I used to teach under privileged kids English for some school thing and I realized that even though I was their teacher, there was still a lot I learned from them, whether it was just by observing them or just because they told me of some trivial facts about their lives. Age really doesn't matter, it's all about who he is and you seem to think he's a great guy, isn't that all that matters? I hope you have a great life together.
I hope that helps.
