 Yes, one of my best friends is a guy. And he is going out with my friend. We are not attracted to eachother so yes, you can be just friends with a guy...BUT...too be honest it doesn't happen a lot.
I think a lot of time the girl or guy can think that their friend is hot but from my experience nothing comes out of it.

 yes in many situations i have plenty of male friends who are just that they all love me but in the way a friend should andn ot beyond that. but some people cant help but falling in love its fate. hope that helps aphex
