Hi, So I have this issue with this guy I dated almost four years ago.

See I broke up with him because he had bad breath and is hygiene was not the best in the world.

We stayed for him again but I don't want to say anything because I'm not sure if he still has bad hygiene.

What should I do because he wants to be with me but I just haven't talked about it with him yet...

person12345 agony auntI agree with iAmHereToHelpYou, you should meet up for coffee or something and check. I wouldn't say anything, he will probably not take it well. I once dated a guy who always smelled bad and I did tell him that was why I was not seeing him anymore and all that happened was he got extremely angry.

A male reader, no nonsense Aidan United Kingdom +, writes (2 January 2013):

He wants to be with you but what do you want? Only tell him tactfully if you’re looking to give this relationship another go. If not, don’t bother telling him, just say you weren’t attracted to him anymore or something a little more generalised to show that the feelings just weren’t there, because there’s no point causing him additional upset. Perhaps he’ll go on to meet some-one who’s happy with his lack of hygiene. Essentially you finished it because aspects of his features and appearance put you off, so it’s lack of attraction.

I wish you all the very best.
