kenny agony auntI don't think you can blame the loss of an erection on one glass of wine with dinner. Brewers droop is more common with guys that have been out and had a skinful, then tried to have sex with their partner at the end of the night.

It's common in guys to get a droop every now and then, but if it happens on a regular basis it could be stress, something he is worrying about, or even diet.

Good luck x

TasteofIndia agony auntHey sweetness,

One glass of wine usually won't kill an erection, however it's pretty common for guys to "lose it" once in awhile. If over the last four years this has only happened a few times... well, there's nothing wrong with him, that's for sure!

He may have "lost it" due to stress, work, or maybe his mind just wandered and he got distracted.

It can be pretty embarrassing for guys when this happens and they fumble for any excuse. If he wants to blame the wine, let him... I'm sure he's not cheating or anything horrible. Sometimes these things just happen. If it starts to happen consistently, however - you might try finding out what's going on with him. He might have a lot on his mind?

Good luck, sweetness!

A female reader, flower girl United Kingdom +, writes (1 June 2007):

flower girl agony auntIt could be brewers droop, stress or relationship issues to be honest as it has only happened once i would not worry too much as they all have the odd occasion where it does not want to perform, if it should happen again try talking to him and see how he feels about everything in general at the moment.

Take care.xx
