Blood after sex?

A female United States age 30-35, *ee_neko writes:

Hi. So I haven't had sex in over five months nor have I penetrated myself during that time. I just had sex with my new boyfriend and after the second time there was some bleeding. Not just a little blood, it kinda kept coming for awhile, like my period was starting or something. But that's not possible (am mid cycle). It's stopped now but i was freaking out for a bit.

So i was wondering if i broke something down there or if maybe we shouldn't have gone at it twice. He's larger there than I've ever had before, but he's not like....HUGE. Just a bit larger. And the condoms we used had spermicidal lube on them, could that have contributed?

Well I am by no means virginal so I'm not sure my hymen being the issue is possible. Unless it grows back? I didn't think it did....

Moo's Mum agony auntIf there's no pain it's possible it could be your hymen. However if there's pain go to a doctor and have it checked out.
