1) Beauty night. Chip i to buy some really cheap make up and nail polish and do up each other . Be creative, be otrageous, be over the top- you can just wash it away after all ! Get some hair paint - it's washable. Or henna paste and a tiny brush- you can paint mehndis ( tribal decorations ) on each other's arms and hands ( check on Internet or at Barnes and Noble for patterns and designs booklets )
2) Vision collage. Everybody has dreams for their future, right ? A fantastic boyfriend, a wonderful house, a closet full of designer clothes...or maybe becoming a rockstar, or exploring the Amazonas...anything goes. Get several large cardboard sheets, scissors, a big pile of old magazines ( you can ask them from family and friends, or beauty salons ), and some glue. Start snipping ,cutting and pasting the pictures and images that show or represent symbolically what you want. This supposedly helps you attract these things in your life because the images plant themselves powerfully in your subconscious mind and keep working day after day to show you a way to get these things... This is a New Agey thing and I can't swear it works :) but it is surely cheap great fun. You can have a prize for the most original collage, and you can have fun preparing the atmosphere- lighting candles, and sitting in a circle holding hands , taking deep breaths to raise energy and invoke your Higher Self.... Sort of Harry Potterish, but trust me, it's really fun and gets the creative juices going.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (13 June 2010): Invite them over early and watch a movie at your house! You can make some good, cheap food and paint nails, gossip, do hair, dance around to music, all that fun stuff. You won't get bored. A roomful of young ladies never get bored, trust me. You'll have a great time, don't worry!
Hope that helped a little, sweetie! Happy almost-birthday!
