My bf and I sometimes go to the pool together and we also go to the sauna. My bf would like to go to the sauna without anything on, except a towel. I would prefer him to wear a bathing suit. I don't exactly feel comfortable when there are other women in the sauna with him and he's only wearing a towel. Does this sound irrational or am I being understood? Thanks :-)Lindsay Reply to this Question Share |

That is certainly reasonable.

Hillary30 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionWell, I have to add that the towel is covering everything up, and he has said that it helps protect the skin when everything is "free". So in other words, he's heard that with the tightness of the bathing suit and wearing one in a sauna can cause skin problems. He's told me that he will wear one when there's women around, but he doesn't see the point if there's only men there. Should I still be concerned?

You're not irrational. Would he be ok with you sitting in a sauna with only a towel and a bunch of naked sweaty men? Probably not. Tell him to suit up or shut up : Good luck.
