Well, it's up to you, but personally, I'd break up with him now and write off the loan as a bad loss. Because it seems very unlikely you'll get it back.
Hopefully, if you save your money, you'll be able to replace the 570 pounds in a few months - and know not to lend to anyone else!

I would say you have different values when it comes to money, you save for what you want and he borrows it, something lot of married couples argue about.
As a general rule it's never really a good idea to lend money for this very reason.

A hard lesson to learn is you can't trust everyone. I'd take the slimeball to court if I were you and I don't even know how much an lb is but I'm certain it's enough to be worth seeing the moucher go down for.
