writes:alright for some reason I am really attracted to blondes. So I am at this high school dance last night and when I walk in right away I see this girl who has a smoking hot body. at first I was almost intimidated but thinking of the last girl I liked and how I messed that up so bad I had to be confident and smooth. so after an hour of dancing I caught her looking at me a little and she saw me looking at her so it kinda felt good, After another 20 minutes or so I end up pretty close to her talking to one of my friends. I already asked her once if she wanted to dance and she said "later, its kinda awkward right now" so I thought that was a nicer thing to say than just no. so when I am close to her she is grinding on one of her friends and kinda turns and smiles. not like a normal smile kinda like Im glad your looking smile. My friend saw it too and was like man she's looking at you, better get on that. Well her friend walks up to me and says she thinks your sexy and wants to dance but is to shy. I was kinda the same way I didn't want to seem desperate by going up to her twice. well next thing I know her friends are pulling her up to me and I was like if you don't want to dance with me you don't have to. I think she thought it was sweet. well we danced for no more than 30 seconds before she stopped cause a security guard was looking. I was like WTF but it was cool. She was wearing like yoga spandex real skin tight pants and uggs with a cute tank top that gradually was working its way a little higher and higher. She wasn't dancing like a tramp she seemed really nice from the little bit of talking we did. well 5 minutes after dancing together she comes up to me and gives me her phone and wants me to put my name and number in. Here is where my question begins. I don't have her name or number but she has mine. I guess my question is if she came up to me after dancing and wanted my name and number do you think she will call me or text me? how long is the general rule before calling or texting like 2 or three days? I have danced with girls before especially this summer in Ocean City some for a long time but didn't get a name or number. So do you think she kinda liked me if she wanted my number. Im sorry for asking so many questions but this is kinda the first time a girl wanted my number. some have given me there number but usually I have to ask for it. I really hope she calls me or something cause it would help me get over this girl who was blatantly mean to me who I liked :( but it would be nice to have someone to talk to who might want to talk to me.

justfriends is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI am also a little worried that she like me when it was kinda dark inside then she saw that I had red hair and that may have been a factor to her not calling or texting me. I might just be thinking the worst but for real I hope she calls lol.

Perhaps she is trying to pluck up the courage to text you.. you mentioned that her friend said she was shy, so she may be just finding the right time to text you.
All you can do is wait, I know its frustrating, but there is little else you can do. Who knows, your paths may cross again in the future and then you will have at least something to talk about.. ie.. In a casual joking way you will be able to say... hey, you had my number and you didn't text!

justfriends is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthere are some pics up on facebook of the dance and its tag yourself so hopefully she will. I just feel bad for not knowing her name. I am also looking forward to my friends not teasing me about the same girl. hearing (insert girl name) at school instead of my name gets kinda old when we were just friends and having a different nick name would be nice.
the waiting game takes me about 24 hours to get use to so thats why. I also heard of the three day rule but hopefully she will call me.
also I am guessing she is a freshman or sophomore? and I am a junior hopefully she is at least 15 cause 14 sounds young even know im only 17.
Im just going to leave it alone its just that she seemed sweet and if she isn't dating anyone or doesn't want to Im a good friend.
