writes:hi,im a 20 year old male, been outta the dating scene for over a year and a half. i met this girl and have been seeing each other for about 4 months. nothing has been made official as for the relationship status, but i feel like we're at a Stand still. i ask her what she feels about it, and she says i dont know. she says she wnats to get to know me better, but its been 4 months and getting impatient. i dont really know what to do at this point but i feel like im getting led on, and wasting my time with even trying half the time...any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! hi there, i am in a very similar situation at the moment where the girl has said lets see how it goes... and from what i have learned through out my dating life is that when a girl does not try to take it further or say anything about the "relationship" it has usually been that she has trouble expressing her feelings for her own reasons, in which case u should take the stand and express your feelings to her more.
let her know how u feel in little doses like, i think u look beautiful today or where is that lovely smile etc.. to encourage her that it is ok for her to express how she feels about you (but do not overdo it as she may not like too much attention).
if this is not the case and what i have said does
not help, then she may be leading you on if so confront her about it (not aggressive) and be honest... honesty is key!!!

 What do you want her to say.....women expect men to take a stand and say something like i want to see you exclusively, how would you feel about that......etc. Is it possible she thinks you are hinting that its time for a physical involvement now and thats what shes not ready for......maybe she needs more time to get attached to you before she can do that.....you 2 really need to communicate, be open with each other and respect her wishes if you respect her as a person
