sexomnia! I am watching "Strange Sex" on TLC (The learning channel). This could develop into a serious problem.

Good luck!

It may be a good idea for him to mention this to his doctor and see if there is any information or solutions. Different couples on the show reacted differently to this situation - it hurt some relationships, but wasn't a problem at all for others. Hopefully nothing is seriously wrong and your relationship can continue as normal. Good luck.

I woke up to my ex jerking off in his sleep a couple of times. It happens. If that is what you mean by normal. At the time though we weren't really having sex and it really pissed me off that he was jerking off.
If my boyfriend now did it we would have a laugh out of it because I knew for sure our sex life is through the roof.
I believe your questioning the behavior is an indicator you feel like something is up. You should ask him but be fully prepared for the answer.
My jerk ex said he wasn't attracted to me anymore. Trust me I am not ugly I am constantly being asked out by men... but HIM saying it killed me. If you're willing to explore this topic with him do it but like I said be prepared.

I think your man is just a normal young man, with a big libido.
Is he trying to have sex with you while you sleep or is it a one man show?
