Now they’re teenagers, and giving us the grief that we gave our parents. And the end is in sight – the kids are, God willing, going to strike out on their own in the foreseeable future. We remember, maybe, all the lust we had when we started out. Twenty years on, maybe (!?) that’s dimmed. Now that the kids are less demanding, they’re leaving, and we are back where we started == except we’re not 20, it’s not new, and we’re not so horny for each other. WTF do we do?

I have been married for over 25 years now and my children have left the house. My hubby and I make time every evening to spend time together talking about everything except work and children. We try and do something new every month, often go out for dinners or share a bottle of wine. This has all helped to rekindle our marriage. We are getting to know each other again.
mail me if you would like to discuss further.

Ummmm.... I am a bit envious of you. 20 years married and still think about romance to each other. :-)
My adopted parents are in their 70s-80s and they still cuddle up to each other!
If you are talking about sex, right now, I am still fascinated by the Indian's ancient art of sex. Kama Sutra. Google "kama sutra positions" and you shall find fascinating information and educational pictures on sexual positions there.
As for feeling "horny", it is partially psychological as well physiological. For the latter, you may need to seek medical advice. If all your hormones are okay, even though your libido is not as high as it used to be when you were younger, you can still enjoy it when you do it I think.
I remember my mother telling me about a friend of hers, a long time ago. Her friend wanted to lose weight and look sexy again, by going to the gym religiously. Within one year, she lost 40 lbs. She was in her 40s. Her husband found her really sexy then that she got pregnant again! I guess she did well in the sexy department, but forgot that both she and her husband were still fertile! LOL
So, you can also start going to the gym (both of you) to tone up those muscles! Throw away some of the old "parents" clothes, and get new ones that show your curves and yet looking very classy! And sexxyyy ....
