Don't do any faddy diets such as the 2 bowls, 2 weeks or others that claim to help you lose weight in a number of days by cutting out certain things like carbs as they can lead to mood swings and health problems. Use these steps they helped me loose 3 stone in 6 months healthily;

1, cut out caffine as it slows metabolism

2, drink at least 6-8 glasses of WATER each day

3, don't drink carbonated drinks

4, exercise for at least 30minutes a day

5, reduce portion size

6, reduce simple carbs such as chips

7, eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day

and treat yourself occasionally (this stops you feeling like you've been left out) Good Luck hun...x

hlskitten agony auntHi

Calorie counting. And having a day off once a week. Ie- no calorie counting and eating any amount you want basically. Keeps the body on its toes. The reason you possibly put the weight back on is because you avoided lots of foods, then ate them again after the diet. Dont worry so much about the foods, more the calorie content. And shops these days sell more foods with the calories on the packets. Average calories to lose weight will be a max of 1200-1500 a day, but the site ive put below will tell you exactly how many you need to lose the amount of weight you want to.

A good site i used, that helped me lose weight within weeks, was sparkpeople.com. Its free to join and they set a plan up for you based on your individual wants and needs. But without telling you what foods to eat.

Obviously lots of fatty food isnt good, but 'diets' are nutorious for people putting the weight back on again. Calorie counting is more successful long term.

Good luck.

duskyrowe agony auntAll I can suggest Hun is eat sensibly and exercise regularly. But if you want to tone up do exercise on the running machine or exercise bike as this is likely to burn off more fat. Make sure you get sound advice from the people who work at the gym if you want to tone up the right places, but don't over do it. Ok? Dusky xxx.

The best way that i found in the past to lose weight is to dance and it gets rid of loads of stress. Put on your favourite dance music and put aside at least half and hour per day for dancing.

Another way was to walk my sons dog, I used to put on loads of clothes and set off and do 2 miles per day, i sweated buckets, got in the bath when i got back.

Also i did a day of no solids, just juices. I even had soup i had made for tea which i had blended to a liquid.

These things certainly worked for me.

take care

i used to be in the same situation as ur in now. The best thing to do is when you have really big cravings cereal is the answer. Chose a low fat cereal with a high in fibre rating, i chose albran and special K as they both worked on me really well. Try this for 2 weeks and see how it goes gd luck x

I just want to say that because you're a size 10, a lot of the weight you might lose will probably come off your boobs because you've already clearly got a thin frame.. Just so you dont make a mistake honey :] good luck.
