Back then I didn't care that much, but now I've been clean for six months and I really really miss him. Do you have any ideas of how I could get our friendship back?

Well it's good that you've cleaned up your act, but getting your friendship back is going to be tuff.
Because he knows that you got into drugs he might think that within a matter of time you can go straight back to it. After all it doesn't take that long before any one can go back to square one and take drugs or drink again.
I think what you need to do is talk to him. What's there to lose? Just tell him how you feel, how you want to be friends again, and just tell him everything from scratch. If you don't gain his trust about not taking drugs and drinking then the friendship is pretty much spoilt.
Good Luck Hun.

If you want to get back friends with this person you should text them and just tell him your situation and say you would like to meet up and get things back to normal.
Its not going to be easy but if you really miss him and want to be friends again then you should put the effort into getting back friends. There is nothing worse than losing a good friend.
Good luck and I'm glad that you are not using drugs anymore and I hope you become friends again.
