Lately he told me he really liked me. obviously I was happy, but after that he didn't say anything about it so just as I had almost gotten over that, he asks me to this dance his school is having but my friend, who he used to go out with is going there too, with someone else, and I don't know if he's just asking me to make her jealous or because she rejected him already and I pretty much know for a fact that he still likes her... so I was wondering, does anyone have any tips on how to get over someone quickly and easily, cos I've been trying, for months but every time I come close I end up getting drawn back in. Please reply, thanks.

At least thats one way of knowing for sure how he feels!!! If he's still unsure - don't bother making any more contact with him - he'll seek you out if he wants you!!Other than, keep yourself busy with new hobbies/sports/friends etc so as not to have time to be thinking about him.

If you want to get over him once and for all then take up a new hobby or a sport, something that keeps you busy. Don't hang around with him or go to the same places he does. Tell yourself he's not worth it, he's using you to make your friend jealous. Throw yourself into your studies to take your mind off him. If he REALLY likes you then he'll seek you out, if he doesn't then you're really better off without him anyway.
