I had the same problem about two weeks ago!
I did this
I did a surprise party for him at my house, got all his friends and family! It cost quite bit of money but it was worth it ... I also gave him money for his car that he is fixing all the time :)

Go out for breakfast! Set it up at some nice resturant that serves breakfast and can make mickey mouse pancakes for him. Do the balloon thing and have the waitresses sing the birthday song to him. It's different and it'll make him feel so special too! Best wishes, Gena

There are lots of things that can be personalized with digital photos now, mouse pads, throw blankets, coasters, calendars, Tshirts, things like that. You could have a picture of the two of you made into something like that.
