This question is about my body.

I don't get too many spots on my face, however i find i get loaadss on my back, and it looks disgusting.

My boyfriend hasn't seen it yet, and im hoping he will not be turned of by it?:/

Even if it doesn't bother him, i'd still like some advice on how to get rid of/prevent getting spots on my back, as its not easy using spot cream there!!

Any suggestions? :)

cls1990 agony aunttry an exfoliating scrub while in the bath/shower. I found that putting talc on my back after the shower helped.

Also, get out in the sun. I know its rare here in the uk but when you get the chance, go and sit in your garden, even half an hour will help! Just dont sit out for too long!

By the way, acne on the back is caused by clogged hair folicles and over production of oil in the sebaceous glands, and bacteria building up due to the blockage causing a pustule. You do not want to add more Moisture to the back as you are already over producing oil. If you must use a moisturizer look for one that says it is non comedogenic meaning it will nog clog pores. So the key is to keep clean, do not over scrub as this will just aggravatge the already inflammed skin and use an antibacterial soap....also you can find soaps containing salycilic acid which helps dry out existing pimples.

Applying an over the counter benzyol peroxide cream will dry out existing acne, but be careful because it will bleach fabrics, so wear white bed clothes if applying before bed.

Other than that a dermatologist may prescribe antibiotics to help prevent breakouts.

Its quiet a common problem now and there are many solutions, during bathing be sure to soak the back in hot water and (although tricky) try exfoliating with a brush to flake off dead skin and after towel drying mositurise (the best you can) this may seem exspensive but you can find some products cheap and easy its simply finding the right one for you and your skin, this can be really difficult to do alone so prepare! dont be embarresed by this, its common and at least its in a less obvious place, some people have horrendous insecurities about there apperance due to bad spots on the face so your one of the lusky ones! your boyfriend loves you for who you are, your body is just part of the package. :)

Just be sure and shower after excercise and getting sweaty and use an antibacterial soap. Best advice is to see a dermatologist for some pills.
