It might be worth trying the turkey baster technique, also its best to make sure that your husband allows chance for his sperm to mature, if you're going at it all the time the sperm won't habe the strength to perform their job.

I am sorry that you are having such a trying time but my daughter and her husband went through the same but for a longer period. They were married for ages and together from the age of 17. They tried everything including IVF, which didnt work. They gave up, my daughter went in for improving her career and took up accountancy. Her husband is a manager and suddenly out of the blue, without even tryin she became pregnant and now has a beautiful baby girl - aged 6 weeks called Ella. Relax and stop trying. I hope you have the same success story.
take care

I have no idea why a doctor would tell you to use birth control every other month. If you have been trying for a couple of years then both of you should be checked out for infertility and endocrine problems - some of them are simple to correct. Don't feel defeated - doctors told me that my chances of having a baby were slim because of medical conditions but here I am nearly 8 months pregnant after 3 years of trying.
