We have unprotected sex and use lubricant every time. It sometimes occurs after masturbation as well.Sometimes this itch is non-existent, but it does occur frequently. There is no swelling or redness on or around any other part of my pubic area.If anyone can give me any insight or answers as to why this could be happening, please help me out!

Well if it happens with masturbation too, not just sex, I would try changing lubricants. Perhpas you are sensitive to it. Avoid warming, cooling, tingling, scented, type stuff with extra additives, and try some different no frills water based lubes.
Type 'hypoallergenic lubricant' in to google and a lot of brands will come up that are a bit more user friendly for sensitive people.
Hope that sorts ya problem :-)
