They are brother and sister and the female Pixie is larger than her brother Bubba. I am having a problem with when I feed them table scraps they dont chew their food. Pixie swallows everything whole but never chokes and I give Bubba smaller pieces because he is smaller he chews twice and swallows it and chokes. I am getting frustrated because they both chew their dog food but not human food. I am getting tired of having to rip pieces into the size of a dime for Bubba. I always wait until he is done eating before I give either of them a new piece and he knows that since he chews his treats so the only problem is with human food. Any ideas how I can get my male to chew his food and stop choking? Just a note I am giving them human food because I want to get my male fixed but the doctors advised that I wait until he is about 7/8 months because he weighs maybe a pound and the meds could kill him so they said wait and try to get him to gain weight. I feed them chicken and all sorts of veggies on top of always having puppy chow available.

Bubba might be wolfing his food too quick, especially if he is the smaller dog. If you don't eat it quick, someone bigger will get it, right? Even if they don't seem to squabble over food to human eyes, it might be happening at a subtle "dog" level. You could try separating them to feed them.
I agree that mixing it in with their regular food is a good idea. Try to avoid handfeeding them all their extras. Dogs love this kind of interaction but if there's two of them, they may feel they have to compete for your attention. Eat the treat as quick as you can because it'll be your turn again quicker.

Have you tried mixing it into their dog food?
I doubt that this is normal so it may be worth talking to a vet or asking in a pet shop about it
