Normally this is an amazing gift, but my upper back and shoulders are always in really bad pain from the weight being put on my small frame. I considered breast reduction but its too serious a step to take for me and realistically other than the pain im very happy i was blessed... Any good back excersices i could do to take the pain and tension away?

hey,
I have the same problem- and being preggo they've only gotten bigger!
I did find, on ebay, these 'chest support' girdle thingys... I'm considering getting one. They're made to lift the boobs and keep them from going to the sides, but I was more interested in the way the straps and the back were made to evenly disperse the weight. Yes, it is not attractive and its meant to be worn over your regular bra, but it might help.
I have talked to a doctor before about reduction surgery. They did say that if you do it before having children, you actually run the risk of them 'growing back' to your previous size. yes, breastfeeding after surgery can also be a problem, but being that I hadn't considered breastfeeding at the time I didn't care. I didn't want to get the surgery to simply have them 'grow' back!
I'll take baths, I've learned to sit up straighter and not slouch-slouching was causing a lot of my back pains. If sitting up straight is a prob, try getting one of those lumbar chair support deals and lean back until your shoulders touch the back of the seat. I have knots in my shoulders the size of bowling balls, and I don't know if they'll ever go away- but if you start getting headaches or the knots start to go up the back of your neck I would definately consider surgery.
Until then, get a good bra!

You need to get to a specialty shop and get custom fitted by a professional. They will be able to get you into a better and sturdier bra that will give you more support and take some of the weight off of your shoulders. Unfortunately - the joy of having larger breasts means making sure that they are fully supported. Breast reduction surgery should be your last resort, of course, but it is a definite option. You may wish to delay it until you have finished having children - it can cause problems with breastfeeding in some cases. If you do choose this route, discuss your wishes with your doctor - new surgical techniques can minimize future breastfeeding issues. Here's a link:
