my teacher is totally hot and has all the same views as me! are there any books about a student getting together with her male teacher, so that i can live vicariously through her? i think that's the only option, because i can't just get over it. we don't choose who we fall for.

rachducky agony auntYay, someone who has the same issue as me.

I'm looking for books too like this so if you find any, please tell me.=)

I'd recommend Teach Me by R.A. Nelson. It has an older teacher in it that is about 35 somethingish... If you're looking for a younger teacher that is close to the age of the student, you should read A Season of Eden.

Good luck to you with your teacher, and you're right, we don't choose who we fall for.

Please email me or reply to this, I'd actually like to hear about your teacher and you since I can't find a good enough book.=)

None of them will give you a reliable projection. If you are interested i can tell you about my experience with my teacher; but it wasn't terribly pleasant. A good book for relationships between much older and younger is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, entirely fascinating and intelligent however Lolita is 12 years old and her 'suiter' is a paedophile. Notes on a Scandal is both a book and film about a female teacher having a relationship with a male student who is 15, for my daughter's honor with Gary cole is a film about a male middle-aged teacher having a relationship with a 14 year-old student, compulsion is a film about a young rich asian woman having a relationship with her much older driver. Pornography can give you alot of insight into fetishism where teacher/student relations are involved as well as much erotic literature. A childish book by Jaqueline Wilson called Love lessons gives an idealistic and possibly misleading but uplifting story of a 14 year old girls relationship with her art teacher. There are hundreds of books on amazon I'm sure; also Innocents (novel) gives an insight into a teenage girl's relationship with her male teacher.

I should warn you there are possibly none or very few books about relations with teachers that end well.

See this thread, you can order online.

There is nothing wrong about former students and former teachers falling in-love. As long as the teacher have resigned from their jobs or the student graduates from the school. It is about ethics.

If a teacher and the student are part of the educational institution - it is hands-off sir, mam. But a teacher working in UCLA could have love relationship with a student outside UCLA.

Love is all that matters.

NITRAM BLUE agony auntAny books I can read about student/teacher relationship?

There are no books about student-teacher love relationships because teachers are suppose to be supervising you in your academic studies.

You have the same case with a female British student aged 13-15, you can check the deliberations and the discussions on:

http://www.dearcupid.org/question/should-it-be-allowed-for-teachers-to-date.html

Student and teacher love or sexual affairs are prohibited because it is unlawful for the teacher to engage in such acts. There are ethical standards that the teacher has to follow which aims to protect the educational system.

The above links are news in your country about teachers having affairs with their students. They were arrested and charged.

"Police say a married 36-year-old male Temecula Valley High School teacher had an on-going sexual relationship with one of his 16-year-old female students.

Jeremy Todd Buchholz, also a father of two and a former football coach turned math teacher, is free on $25,000 bail.

He is charged with unlawful intercourse with a minor, sexual penetration with a foreign object and oral copulation with a child under 18 years old, all felonies."

Statutory Rape Law in the United States classifies people under 18 to be minors. Consenting sexual affairs with an adult and the minor is not a valid defense.

Even you are a female and your teacher is a female, both of you should not cross the line. Otherwise, both of you will get into trouble - Bad Headline for both of you plus jail term for her.
