I have no idea how he feels about me but i catch him looking at me sometimes and hes always really nice to me.I'd really like to know him better even maybe as just a friend as we have lots in common, but i dont know how to approach him as i am incredibly shy and have very little confidence.  Is he shy too? If so, then you might have to make the first move. If he isn't, then you need to make yourself available to speak with you and see what happens. It seems like you've been admiring each other from afar... time to close the distance gap!
