it most likely hurt because you both were too rushed. Did you take your time getting ready, by useing lots of lube and toys that start small and gradualy get bigger untill it is comfertable for him to go in... and slowly barely inch his way in stoping every time it hurts, and slowly going back and forth at each stage as well? Sometimes though, esspically if he is large/wide going in will be too tight and perhaps painfull no matter what.... but.... i've heard of very large objects.. even fisting, with the ass so i guess nothing is impossable, though it does take a long time to loosen those muscles, not to mention you need to be relaxed during sex, esspically since its anal for you to beable to enjoy it. perhaps your partner was just to rough with you? However, i think you need to decide if this is soemthing you don't enjoy, weither it is painfull, or if you want to try again. It can be a pluserable experience, but you have to be carefull.... you could potentialy be harmed for a long time. I remeber one time it was too quick and hurt, and i bled, and every time i would do a "number 2" after that it would bleed again, i'm lucky it eventually healed. I've heard soem real horror stories, but if you do it right and realllly take your time, everything will be fine. As for the tightness, relaxation, lube, and slow penetration are key to haveing it be safe, fun, and pluserable (as well as fingureing or useing toys, and gradualy adding more fingers or wider toys, all of which are well lubed, untill it is enough). it does take time, but eventually you will widen enough that it wont hurt at all, but please only do this if you want to, not to make your b/f happy, esspically if he has guilted you to do this. a lubed condom will not be enough, at least not for a while.

Heck YES it's supposed to hurt the first time. Losing your virginity can hurt, well... so can butt sex. Eventually your body will adjust. It will always be a little uncomfortable at first, but it will get better. Make sure you're nice and relaxed and... all though this is graphic, have you boyfriend put his finger in there first, or maybe a thin dildo... then your body can adjust to that first. Then the penis.
It'll get better.
