But more and more, it's getting harder between my boyfriend and I. Today, we were messing around and he took my underwear off. However he still had his boxers on. He put his penis inside of me, but not all the way. No more than halfway in - but he still had his boxers on. We didn't have an orgasm because I stopped him. I mean, I know this is considered penetration. But it's been bugging me. I want to know if that's considered sexual intercourse. Am I still a virgin?

If not having sex before marriage is really that important to you, then just don't let it happen again! Guys, if she's been using tampons, as most young women do these days, then she probably has little or no hymen left in tact. So it's possible to have little to no bleeding at all, upon initial penetration. Thank you.

Dear Virgin--Just about all the human race when they are young fooled around with sex in one way or the other. One way to check out your penetration is to go to a hospital and have you tested. (In many states; this can be done without your parents knowlege) Call them and ask first if you like? (Im NOT telling you to do this but you should know this for your own personal education.) That many people have sex prior to marriage only because they are curious or there friends do it. (some churches are against teenage sex) Whatever you are doing--know you arent alone. There are good things and bad things to chose from.

With his boxers on? Ouch, did it hurt?
But anyway, I would have to agree with the other poster and say that your virginity is gone. I mean, technically virginity is only a state of mind, because we all know way better than thinking a physical state (hymen intact) is a sign of virginity now. It can be broken doing lots of other activities so it's irrelevant.
The usual definition for losing virginity in a male-female relatioship is when the penis goes in, regardless of how much it goes in, your virginity is gone.
Hope you don't feel too bad about it :)
Good luck.

Well I'm not sure how he could have penetrated you with his boxers on?
But either way if his penis went inside your vagina, regardless of how far in it went, then no you are not a virgin anymore. Just because you didnt orgasm doesnt mean that you didnt have intercourse - so I am afraid that your experience with your boyfriend and his boxers does count as sex so I guess that was your first time!
At least it can only get better after that experience!
