And you state your Mom and your bf's Grandmother are half-sisters so then yes, you and your bf are indeed, connected through bloodline and genetics. But not as close a you might think. One of your bf's parents is a half first cousin to you. His Grandmother would also be a half-Aunt to you. And your Mother would be a great half-aunt to him. I am not sure but your bf would be a second half-cousin to you, but the bloodline connection has waned, considerably. So in other words, if you are dating and concerned about being relatives and dating him is wrong..I say, and this is just my opinion...don't worry about it.
