A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Ok, I've been taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for over 2 years and my periods have been like clock work. I usually start Wednesday and go until the following Monday. I have also been sexually active with my boyfriend. Last week, I started 2 days late(Friday)...and it was extremely light. I had slight cramping for the first 3 days but then it stopped. I've have consistant spotting(very light, wouldn't consider it a period) We're on day 10 now...and again...light spotting, only there on the (TP) or about a dime size spot on my pad overnight. I've taken my pill faithfully every day and this has never happened to me. I'm horomonal but given the stress factor of this spotting thing, its freaking me out!! So...my question is...do you think I'm prego or am I over reacting?

I think if you know your pattern and it's very very regular and suddenly it's changed after being sexually active you should definitely get yourself a pregnancy test or go to the doctors to find out if you're pregnant. If you are unsure you should do this without hesitance!

Keep us posted!

HonningKanin agony auntThe body can work like clock work, but even still is subject to change and there is no real explenation. Periods can suddenly stop being normal one month and then go back the next.

It would be best thought to get a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.
