writes: I have started chatting to a guy online. we are in different countries, he is in his early 40's and i am in my mid thirty's. we both have alot of relatinship experience behind us. we have been chatting every night and get on so well.....am i mad? should i continue this? Its all on a friendly basis at the mo but he has hinted at interest in me and i am interested i him. am i nuts to think there could be a future in this? after all its all online, we have seen pics of eachother but thats all.

A relative of mine married a girl he met over the internet. Where I live, a local paper published stories of people who married this way, too. So your relationship could work out. Still, you need to keep your eyes very open and be careful.

After all you could actully be talking to Jack the ripper or the nicest guy in the world.
He may not be who he says he is & the pictures may not be of him.
But then again ur not some silly wee teenage lassie so I probaly dont hav to tell u this.
Just be extermly careful.
Weigh u th pros & cons of the relationship.
For example is it worth while starting a relationship with some-one in another country?
