A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hey guys, im really confused by the mixed signals a very good guy mate "tom" is giving me...and i dont know how to respond.

im a very out going and friendly girl who never stops talking, ive been with my boyfriend for over 2 years and i am very happy with him, whereas tom is a bit of a flirt and a player..."Tom" knows im in a serious relationship yet he alwyas looks at me a bit funny, like just stares at me...

yesterday i went out with Tom, he took me out as a b'day treat and throughout the day he was looking at me in the same funny way, he would touch me, not in a perverted way but lyk stroke my arm and touch my face telling me im soo cute, in the end i ended up feeling quite paranoid...he's a gd mate

am i just being paranoid and reading to much into this situation?

didda123 agony auntNo im good on gut instincts and from what you have said i think Tom has the hots for you girl!

I know you said you were in a relationship and Tom is aware of this but i think he obviously likes you and values your friendship to think of you on your birthday and to take you out how nice... well it would be if you didn't already have a boyfriend whom you love.

Just monitor Tom for now and if he gets out of hand and you are really happy with your boyfriend i think you will have to drop him a gentle reminder.

Good luck x

PunkyPippi agony auntNope, he definitely has more than just friendly feelings. Don't go solo with him anywhere so you don't give him the wrong idea.
