My friend is of the opposite sex and 2 years older than me, but he is the warmest one of my friends, and when I get cold it is important that I try to stay as warm as I can so I don't get hypothermia or pneumonia, as all of my friends aren't as warm as him I always seem to be snuggling up to him and wearing his jacket. But I'm worried that I am embarrassing him. I can't help the way I am but I need to get him on his own to talk about it honestly. How could I do that because he is always with his friends and we barely get any time alone? Reply to this Question Share |

I am always cold. even in the summer when it's HOT and folks are wearing shorts and tank tops I am in a sweater.
I suggest that you stop snuggling into this boy and wearig his coat and start carrying an extra jacket.... and wearing layers.
bra
tank top
tee shirt
long sleeve shirt
sweater
jacket
wear long johns under your jeans/pants
wear tights under your long johns.
do not use this "problem" as an excuse to be physical with a boy you like....

lol that's different! okay, so I think i'd just ask him, even if it's in front of others, if you're being too needy or invading his personal space too much. although i think the answer's no, i don't think he minds it ;). I think if you took him aside it would come off as a 'bigger deal', but from if you do choose to take him aside, ask to get pizza with him or something... or hot chocolate to keep you both toasty!

Its only around winter I have this problem. Any other time of the year I'm okay, he still hugs me and holds my hand though which makes me think that he doesn't mind winter when I need to keep warm.

if you're not romantically interested in him, i think that you should just layer up a little more or buy/wear a heating pad and not be physical with him. that way you're not taking advantage of his body without sending mixed messages.
