writes:hello, i really like this guy, i have just broken up with his best friend, and now even tho his best friend dumped me, my ex hates me. but his best freind is so nice to me, but only at certain moment, he only texts me or is nice to me when he wants to meet up. The rest of the time he acts like im not even alive, and blanks me. everyone tells me he is only using me for one thing, but he is all i ever think about, and i am crazy in love with him, help me! and i being used? x

hi, Two best friends and the same woman is going to create problems, loads of jealousy and trouble are likely to occur. Either they will not be best friends much longer or you will be dumped by the new guy when he has had some fun with you and the novelty of having his best mates ex has worn off. I could be wrong and he maybe blanks you when around other people so as to be discrete & not to give them something to talk about. Try to rein in the love thing and not go running when it suits him only. If he wants you he will be prepared to wait. Bas

reader, anonymous, writes (28 May 2009): I hate to be the one to tell you this but I do think you are being used. i was in a similar situation with a boy, wel call him tommy. he only ever was nice to me when he was pissed/ drunk and we always ended up ... sleeping together...!! the next day (when he was sober of course) he never would have even waved at me or uttered the small word hello!! this did annoy me - and kept saying to myself hes just shy and hes soo nice to me when drunk, thats something. but i kept up this routine for 2 years, always sleeping with him when he was drunk (and i was either drinking or drunk.)my sister and friends were soo annoyed at me as they thot he was using me, but trust me on this - you wont listen to ANYONE, this is something you need to want to and do YOURSELF!!! i was just at a really pissed off stage, 2 years would do that to you - he never once took me out for a meal or a drive!! so i thot f that, hes not getting no more of me if im not even worth a sober hello!! and that was that! be strong, just say no next time, make an excuse if you have to, stop replyin to his texts and maybe even change your number and lastly DELETE HIS number - to avoid any drunken booty calls!!lol. hope this helps!!
