This has been over a year and he continues to do this. I feel that it is not respectful of me since he does it even when I am going past her with him. It could be more than 3 times in one night. Her husband is there also and he does not seem to mind.Am I being unreasonable in asking him to stop this behavior?

If it bothers you, he should stop. End of sentence. Anything beyond that is disrespectful.

There's nothing wrong with being affectionate in a friendly way. It probably doesn't mean anything.
However, if he loves you, you certainly have a right to not feel uncomfortable around him and other women being that affectionate.
Its not unreasonable.

No. Absolutely not. In fact, it sounds like something a gay guy would do rather than a straight one.
