I play some sport, not very often though, and I eat healthily although all my friends say I am really skinny (I have very skinny legs apparently) Although I have very chubby cheeks. I know it's not really a relationship question, I was going to ask on yahoo answers but I couldn't be bothered to make an account, haha :P thankyou in advanced! :) Reply to this Question Share |

Well your BMI (body mass index) works out at just over 19, and the healthy range for BMI is 18.5 - 25. So you are on the low end of the scale however you are still a healthy weight. If you lose any more than 5lbs you will be considered underweight which has just as many health problems as being obese does.
By the sounds of it you are pretty tall so I imagine at your weight you look pretty skinny - dont worry if you face is a little chubby, that will just be your hormones! At your age you have just entered into puberty, so your hormones will be all over the place! You will find that bits of your body will develop at different times, meaning that your body may look out of proportion at times and I think this is what you are experiencing now with your face.
My body didnt look quite right until I was around 16/17, you just need to be patient and wait for your hormones to settle down! All girls go through this, you will feel a but awkward for a few years however once you have finished growing and developing you will feel much better about your body!
Try and be active and eat properly (getting your 5-a-day and eating all the food groups). Allow yourself treats from time to time and dont deprive yourself of anything! You are fine as you are at the moment, make sure you dont lose any weight though!
I hope this helps!

Go to a BMI calculator and check your BMI index- anything below 18.5 is considered underweight. I think you are slightly underweight as your BMI is around 18. You said that you have skinny legs- I think the best way to get more healthy would be to do more exercise and eat more protein- that way you will put on muscle mass and not fat. Try looking up stuff about nutrition and exercise and maybe talk to someone about it for example your GP. Say that you want to get fitter and gain a bit of muscle mass.
