I had a one-night-stand with my best friend, and now she's pregnant. I've been in love with her since we were 15... and it's seven years later and she still doesn't know. I was so happy when she kissed me. Then she told me it was a 'one time thing' and she didn't want me like that. I was heartbroken.

Now she's pregnant... should I tell her I love her? I mean, we wouldn't be getting together just for the baby and it would be better for my baby girl for us to be together.

be careful. make sure you tell her how you feel since you can't just walk away and you will know her for along time so you might as well be honest. don't expect too much though. and never use the baby to be with her. the child shouldn't even be considered.make sure it has nothing to do with her nbeing prregnant.it is exciting for you since you are in love with her and having a child can be beautiful under those circumstances but realize that the child will not keep you two together if she doesn't feel that way.it is not good to give it a try if she already feels she doesn't want you like that.it may take a while too. she may grow on you also. good luck.

I think that in this situation, you will have to throw caution to the wind and again tell her how you feel. She's pregnant now and this could alter how she feels and you have to be aware of this. There is a possibility that she may want you around for the baby's sake which wouldn't be exactly true to you.

You have loved her for a long time. Yes, you could tell her that and you could say that you wish to stand by her and support her but you must be prepared for a negative response. Aside from going to bed with you, she hasn't shown much interest. So prepare yourself for that eventuality.

For your own peace of mind and as you have nothing to lose, tell her how you feel.

Of course it would be better for your baby girl if she had her father around but really it should be with the right intentions in mind otherwise this could cause later misery for the little family you will form.

Tell her how you feel and I wish you the very best of luck.

Hi,

Are you sure that she meant it when she said it was only a one night thing? Perhaps she said it to avoid showing HER true feelings?

Even so, I think that this is the time to tell her how you feel. I don't know how you've managed to keep it to yourself for 7 years! That must have been very hard on you. You should tell her, maybe if she doesn't feel the same she will grow to because you have a child together, and it's important that that child has two parents.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
