Anyway the problem is, i'm still on my period - it has been almost 3 weeks now, they're coming through quite light and i can get through the day with just a few pantyliners but it just seems to go on and on and on. I finish the first pack this coming Thursday, which means i'll be starting up heavily again by Friday! Is there something wrong as to why this period had lasted so long - i usually only go on for about a week! Or is it just my body adjusting to the pill? Thanks for your help.

It could just be a temp side affect. But when i went on the mini pill many moons ago, i bled constantly for months so had to stop it. Have since discovered i cant use anything with hormones in though.
Have a look on google and see if others have had a similar start on the pill, the one you're on will probably mean the bleeding stops within a few weeks hopefully.
