writes:20 years old, my bf and I have just starting having sex together for the first time recently. We used a condom and he didnt cum inside of me.My period is late, by about 3 days. So I am scared that I could be pregnant. For the past 3 days I have been taking pregnancy tests and every single one says I am not pregnant. This makes me confused because then I wonder why is my period late. I am so scared that I could be pregnant. What do I do?

But I still booked a doctors appointment for today and about 2 hours before it, I got my period!!!! I am so relieved. I now have a script for the pill which I started today as well so I think in future this will make me a little more relaxed as I will have two forms of contraception.

Try to relax. Periods are often late because of stress. And right now your stressing about being late, which is just going to make your period later. Wait around a week. If you still don't have your period get another test, or go and see your doctor. But I don't think you have anything to worry about x

 Even if he had cum inside you, if he wore a condom it should be a problem. That's the whole point of a condom! He doesn't need to pull out with a condom. Periods sometimes come a little late (few days) due to stress or weight changes. So don't freak out because it's 3 days late. Since he didn't even cum inside you, even if he hadn't used a condom, you would be fine. If your period doesn't come for at least a month go to the doctor to rule out other problems (like a thyroid problem) especially if it's accompanied by other symptoms, like trouble sleeping or weight loss or gain. I can tell you though that it would have to literally be some kind sci-fi fertility transfer for you to be pregnant. Also the three negative pregnancy tests should be a pretty good indication that you're not pregnant. Maybe you should consider getting an IUD if you're so worried about getting pregnant. The chance of getting pregnant with an IUD is less than 1% and is almost as effective as permanent surgical solutions. If you're this worried about getting pregnant I can't imagine sex is much fun! Relax a little. If the condom does break (you'll know, trust me) you can always take an emergency contraceptive. As long as you're using a condom and using it correctly (pinching the end, rolling it the right way, and putting a drop of lube in the end) condoms are actually 98% effective, even if he finishes inside you. The numbers that show such a low effectiveness for condoms take into account improper use.

Your period could be late due to many things, mainly stress as you are worried in your mind you could be pregnant it can make your period be late. You need to relax give it another week if it still hasnt come take another test but I wouldnt worry about it at all just yet.

Don't worry about it, if the tests said you're fine, you're fine ;) If you wanna go to a doctor though, just for peace of mind, get a blood test. They're much more accurate.

 Hello There.I hope you have now started to relax a little regarding you current situation.If this is the first time you have had sex, you can expect your body to go through certain changes as having sex is quite traumatic for your body, believe it or not.How long has it been from having protected sex with your partner and your persiod stopping ? You need to work this out as if it has been a week or longer then there may me someting more compicated going on and you need to get checked out. Should it be only a matter of days then you may very well be pregnant, I mean only if the condom split or burst of course, and it may sound stupid but it is true, there only needs to be a pin hole size bust in the condom to let sperm out and get you pregnant. You should go to your doctor and have a real test done to be sure.
