Advice for meeting a girl I met online

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *teelpicker writes:

Hi

I came across this girl a while ago on a dating site. A long while back. No, sorry that's wrong, she discovered my profile.

We've been in contact intermittently since, and I know I want to meet her.

I just worry that she might be put off by my being overweight. I am making good progress with weight loss, but I don't think it will make much difference in just a few weeks. Any advice on how I should cope with that aspect of meeting her.

Also, this is the first time I have met anyone from anything like that, and the first time ever I will be meeting someone like this where we both know we are looking for something. Any general advice?

I agree. You have to approach with a more non chalant spirit. if you make it seem like you are really insecure about that will make her think she should have a problem with it. If you act like it is simply just something you are trying to address and nothing else than her attention will likely be averted to other more important things. A guy being overweight is not the same as a girl being overweight. A guy can't get off just telling a girl she needs to lose weight to be attrative to him. But girls are usually a little more forgiving of that sort of thing is the other things are there for her
