But it's really getting me down and lowering my confidence and self esteem, I've tried so many products but they just dont work, even cream from my doctors. Also, i was looking into lazer treatment but it's so expensive for 3-4 treatments to get rid of it completely. Any advice on how to get rid of the spots and redness and scars? Also, any advice on gaining confidence back? Thankyou!

My daughter had this problem and our doctor put her on a low grade antibiotic, erythromyocin. When she got older, she started using pro-active, its a whole kit that is specifically for clearing up acne (there are info commercials about it, some stars use it). You can try vitamin E cream or vitamin E capsules applied directly to your skin, vitamin E really helps minimize scars, I swear by it. Just don't put it on and go out in the sun since its an oil! You can also try bio-oil, strivectin..these are both known to help. My daughter had some serious acne problems, but now she's 30 and her face is beautiful, you'd never know how much of a problem acne once was for it. Don't give up and remember...true beauty shines from the inside out..have faith in yourself. Who you are as a person is not determined by whether you have some spots on your face. Anyone who would judge you for something like that isn't a person worth knowing. Hang in there!

Hi. I'm around the same age and have the same problem. But there are things that you can do that will fade the appearance of marks (i've read everything that there could possibly ever be, lol, and my skins gotten better I believe). To get rid of redness, wrap and ice cube in a wash cloth and apply to redness for 10 min. This will reduce inflammation and redness. As for the marks, there are a lot of tips/tricks. The best way to fade marks is to use something that has soy in it:http://www.walmart.com/ip/Neutrogena-R-Foaming-Cleanser-Healthy-Skin-R-Visiblyeven-Tm-5.1-oz/10849683It is also best to use a scrub since scrubs get rid of dull skin that's resting on the surface. You can do this twice a week. And when you do get a pimple, DO NOT POP IT! I know it can seem hard at times, but popping a pimple can actually make it last longer and leave marks. If your skin is oily, the best way to fight oil is to use oil! At night I recommend rubbing vitamin E oil on your face: it's hydrating and it will make your skin soft.Don't expect to see fast results, this will take time, but it's worth it! And while you do have marks I suggest using MAC Pro Longwear Concealer $18,just watch how this lady does it,it's amazing:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGqyCzNcI7ofeature=relatedIt will just take time, but I wish you the best of luck and check out allure.com for tons of different beauty tips. You are beautiful no matter what! Remember that! :)

Some teenagers suffer worse from acne than others do unfortunately. Have you asked your doctor about going on the contraceptive pill? This can reduce acne and clear it up. As for the spots just not. Just make sure you keep your skin clean and never pick at the spots as they will scar if you do. As for the scars you have at the moment I suggest maybe rubbing some cocoa cream in to them and hopefully that will reduce the marks.
As for your confidence. As soon as your acne starts clearing up I am pretty sure you will start feeling better about yourself. Look at them as beauty spots. Don't let them get you down.
