 What was the nature of her message? If it was just "hey" or "see you are online", it probably is just that. However, if it is something in nature that really could have been left unsaid or is clearly an attempt at contact, there is a good chance she is reaching out.
As far as "should I go back". Stop and ask yourself how you are doing. Is it getting better? go back and remember how those first couple of days after the breakup were for you. Do you want to go back there?
