Don't be so adamant, Shadow Rose,:) it all depends where you live. Even in USA , what screams queer in Alabama does not say the same thing in Manhattan.
And if you come over to our side of the pond, you'll see that all males in general dress in a more metrosexual kind of way ( not that it's necessarily a good thing, lol ).
My son grew up in the States and he got used to dress for comfort . Clean, but very simple. Jeans and plain T shirt, or jeans and polo shirt when he feels " fancy ". Not much of a fashionist ( to my dismay ). Well, once he was in class at his University, in the front row. He noticed that every now and then, the teacher would stop talking , stare at him intently, and repeat very slowly the last sentence, or most complex words. Af is he were deaf, or mentally retarded. He found that puzzling. By the end of the class , though, he discovered that this teacher, seen on my son the total absence of typical Italian young man's paraphernalia ( 3 loose rounds of silk scarf, highlights, silver/leather bracelets, etc... ) had decided he could only be an American exchange student.
So, pink pants = hipsterish, sure. Pink pants = gay, not necessarily. Maybe in Australia too , not everybody dresses like Mr. Crocodile Dundee , who knows ?

Someone your age? Trying to make the most of their youth while they still have it! Although I would expect teenage boys to wear skinny jeans..not 26-29 year olds

A grown man in skinny jeans?
Gay. Most likely flamboyantly homosexual.
Of course that doesn't make him a bad person for being gay, but I've never seen a straight adult male in skinny jeans, regardless of color. Pink just kinda takes the cake.

Generally speaking : pink in South Africa = homosexual.
Personally, I feel that we should be able to wear what we like [in the colours we like] and not be judged by it!!

Honestly? In America, metrosexual borderline homosexual.
Other parts of the world, say Europe...you would be on trend and fit in with the rest of the trendy straight men. Who seem to dress as well as females, if not better.

First off, I absolutely HATE skinny jeans on a guy. But with that said... Hmm, I guess I would think the guy was very secure in himself and fashion forward.
