Im in my final year of uni so i actually dropped this idea to focus on my studies, but when i went to a new years party, a guy started talking to me...a lot! we had similar interests and im so use to guys just being friendly i didnt think anything of it at the time, but ever since he has been texting me a lot, weve been texting nearly every day since but since im back at uni we havent been able to meet up again. weve been talking about meeting up again and how happy hes been since he started texting me and how he really cant wait to see me again. At first this was exciting me, i felt so happy that for once a guy was interested in me. but as this is getting more towards a date than friends getting together im getting more and more nervous :( now i just keep thinking to myself 'am i just doing this so i can finally push the guy count to 1?' This is my first ever relationship and im unsure how to approach it, i keep feeling like i should just run for the hills.

Dont over-think. Yes you should not get into a relationship just because you want to "push the guy count to 1". But that does not mean you cant give it a chance. Go out with him and have fun, it is ok as long as you feel comfortable with it. Dont try to give it all labels. It is supposed to be fun. My first relationship I had when I was 26 so dont worry, every relationship is different and there is no required skill-set needed to make it a successful one.
