 There is too little information here. Do you ever try to show your interest? Does he turn you down? Are you sure he is not starting andropause?(That is a little far fetched right now, he is only 54)
The best I can do is guess and assume that perhaps he just simply is not interested. Perhaps his sex drive has somehow gotten extremely low.
